 The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and motorists that commencing Monday, August 1, 2022, there will be a temporary road closure in the following area:

• Wellington Street (from the intersection of East Avenue to Valley Road)

This road closure is to facilitate the culvert replacement for Blackwood’s Hill.  Wellington Street will be closed to through traffic for approximately 3 – 4 weeks. 

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to take alternate routes to bypass the construction area.

The City of Corner Brook kindly asks motorists to obey all detour signage, reduce speeds, and be respectful to fellow motorists and flag persons.
