MEDIA RELEASE – BLACKWOOD’S HILL BRIDGE/CULVERT

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                          July 12, 2022

 The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and motorists that Monday, July 18, 2022, there will be partial road closures in following areas:

• Blackwood’s Hill
• Wellington Street
• Valley Road
• Brook Limits
• East Avenue

These partial road closures are to facilitate the Blackwood’s Hill bridge removal and culvert replacement. Construction is expected to last approximately 10 to 12 weeks.

Motorists and pedestrians should take alternate routes to bypass the construction area.

The City of Corner Brook kindly asks motorists to obey all construction signage, reduce speeds, and be respectful to fellow motorists and flag persons.
