MEDIA RELEASE – INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS

 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                     July 5, 2022

 The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and motorists that beginning Monday, July 11, 2022; commencing at 8:00 am construction will be starting at the following intersections:

• Lewin Parkway and Mill Road
• Lewin Parkway and Griffin Drive

This interruption is expected to last approximately 10-12 weeks due to improvements to the intersections and upgrades to the traffic signals.  Motorists are advised that there will be some periodical traffic signal interruptions, and to treat the intersections as a four-way stop during those times.

There will be no planned road closures, however, motorists should expect some temporary lane closures. Pedestrians are advised that there will be sidewalk closures and temporary signage will be installed.

The City of Corner Brook kindly asks motorists to obey all signage, reduce speeds, and be respectful to fellow motorists and flag persons. The City of Corner Brook would like to thank you for your cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
