PUBLIC NOTICE – LANE CLOSURE ON MAIN STREET

BELL’S BROOK CULVERT – PHASE 1
The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise pedestrians and motorists that Tuesday, July 12, 2022, Marine Contractors will be replacing a catch basin at the Intersection of Mount Bernard Avenue and Main Street.
The West side turning lane from Main Street onto Mount Bernard Avenue will be closed to traffic and pedestrians for the duration of the project. This interruption is expected to last approximately 4 weeks to facilitate Phase 1 of the Bell’s Brook Culvert repair.
Motorists and pedestrians are required to take alternate routes to bypass the construction area.
The City of Corner Brook kindly asks motorists to obey all detour signage, reduce speeds, and be respectful to fellow motorists and flag persons.
