Fire Ban Lifted: August 17, 2022

Wood-based outdoor fires within Corner Brook City Limits are once again permitted. Burning permits can once again be issued by contacting the fire department.

Propane barbeques and propane fireplaces/ heaters are allowed, as well as similar outdoor camping stoves. Please ensure they are at least three metres from any flammable material, and keep a hose or fire extinguisher nearby at all times.

To report a fire, or unauthorized burning, call 9-1-1.
