The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise pedestrians and motorists that Wednesday, September 21, 2022, C. Barnes Excavating will be replacing a concrete headwall for the Bell’s Brook culvert located on Valley Road. 

Valley Road between Wellington Street and Broadway will be reduced to one-lane traffic and the sidewalk will be closed to pedestrians for the duration of the project. This interruption is expected to last approximately 12 weeks to facilitate Phase 2 of the Bell’s Brook Culvert repair.

Motorists and pedestrians are required to take alternate routes to bypass the construction area.

The City of Corner Brook kindly asks motorists to obey all detour signage, reduce speeds, and be respectful to fellow motorists and flag persons.
