Low Water Pressure and Discoloration Notice

MEDIA ADVISORY

Due to upgrades to the water distribution system through capital works improvements, the City of Corner Brook wishes to advise that all residents and businesses in the following areas may experience low water pressure and discoloration of water tomorrow, March 2nd, 2023, commencing at 9:00 a.m. This is expected to last for approximately 2 – 4 hours. If you do have discoloration, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear. The City of Corner Brook regrets any inconvenience that this may cause area residents.

Areas to be affected are as follows:           

  • O’Connell Drive #’s 176 – 253
  • Burnt Hill Road
  • Rivervale Road
  • Woodman’s Road
  • Bell Street
  • Empire Avenue
  • Bayview Heights
  • Centennial Place
  • Penney’s Avenue
  • Crestview Avenue
  • Walsh Street
  • Westmount Road
  • Cochrane Street
  • Gale Street
  • French’s Road #’s 18 – 28
  • Valley Road #’s 100 – 110

Residents can call the City of Corner Brook’s Water Information Line at 634-7711 or visit the City’s official website, www.cornerbrook.com, at any time to view precautionary boil water advisories, water outages or road closures.
