Beginning 11:00 a.m. July 1, 2021, the Margaret Bowater Park outdoor swimming pool will be open to the public. The hours of operation will be 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. daily. The canteen is open and will be operated by the Humber Valley Employment Corporation. Washrooms will open at 8:00 a.m. daily and the Splash pad is now operational at 9:00am – 7:00 P.M. daily.

Individuals should wear lifejackets if necessary, and children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the kiddie pool.

The City of Corner Brook is pleased to be able to once again offer access to this beautiful outdoor space. Signage will be posted to remind users of our safety protocols, which will be enforced by security and lifeguards. Due to staffing shortages, some days may be swim-at-own-risk with limited lifeguard availability. We ask the general public in playing an active role in keeping the pool space safe. If anyone is not following one or more of our safety measures they will be asked to leave.
