Precautionary Boil Water Advisory

MEDIA ADVISORY
The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, commencing at 8:00 a.m.and is in effect to make capital works improvements to the water distribution system.
Areas to be affected are as follows:
- Bernard Avenue #’s 59 – 95, excluding #’s 82 (Provincial Courthouse) & 84 (Sir Richard Squires Building)
- Claire Avenue #7 – 14
- Victoria Street #’s 5 – 14
- Dorchester Avenue
- Randolph Place
- O’Connell Drive # 119
- Wellington Street # 1
Due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the systems, the boil water advisory is expected to remain in effect until further notice. You will be advised when the boil water advisory has been lifted. Residents can call the City of Corner Brook’s Water Information Line at 634-7711 or visit the City’s official website, www.cornerbrook.com, at any time to view precautionary boil water advisories, water outages or road closures.
