Water Outage and Precautionary Boil Water Advisory – Mt. Bernard Avenue

The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that a water outage and precautionary boil water advisory has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, commencing at 8:30 a.m. The outage is expected to last for approximately 6 – 8 hours and is due to capital works improvements.

Areas to be affected by the water outage are as follows:

  • Bernard Avenue #’s 41 – 95 (excluding #’s 82 & 84)
  • Randolph Place
  • O’Connell Drive # 119
  • Dorchester Avenue #’s 1 – 12
  • Victoria Street # 3

Areas to be affected by the precautionary boil water advisory are as follows:

  • Bernard Avenue #’s 59 – 95 (excluding #’s 82 & 84)
  • Randolph Place
  • O’Connell Drive # 119
  • Dorchester Avenue #’s 1 – 12

Due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the systems, the boil water advisory is expected to remain in effect until further notice. You will be advised when the boil water advisory has been lifted. Residents can call the City of Corner Brook’s Water Information Line at 634-7711 or visit the City’s official website, www.cornerbrook.com, at any time to view precautionary boil water advisories, water outages or road closures.
