The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that a water outage and road closure that has been scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 6^th, 2023, commencing at 8:30 a.m has been updated. This outage and road closure is expected to last for approximately 6 – 8 hours and is necessary to make repairs to the water distribution system.

Areas to be affected for water outage are as follows:

• MacDonald Brown Drive
• Fillatre Avenue
• Rowsell Street
• Carriage Lane
• Woodrow Avenue
• Hann Crescent
• Tuma Avenue
• Silver Street Extension
• Snow Street # 1
• Carberry’s Road #’s 63 – 95

In conjunction with the repairs, MacDonald Brown Drive will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Woodrow Avenue to the intersection of Lewin Parkway.  In addition, Lewin Parkway will be reduced one lane heading westbound. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
