Our community partners, who provide important social services are continuing to function, but many have had to change how they operate.

The list below includes only some of the many organizations providing services to our community.

AIDS Committee
The Safe Works Access Program (SWAP) is continuing its needle exchange program. Hours have been reduced, so please get in contact for these services.

Association for New Canadians
While the Association for New Canadians is closed to in-person appointments, they are continuing to provide settlement services for the newcomer community by phone, email, and through interactive online programming. Pharmacy Services
Most pharmacies are providing full services with some new procedures. Some are providing free delivery. Call your pharmacy for more information on getting your prescriptions filled, prescription extensions, over the counter orders, opioid treatment, and no-contact payment methods.
Qalipu First Nation
Qalipu First Nation provides a number of services to members, including coordination of medical transportation, mental health counselling, and non-insured health benefit information.

Salvation Army
The Salvation Army can provide emergency food, clothing and lodging. It can also provide emotional and spiritual care. Weekly lunch program is cancelled for the time being.
