Originally from Gander, Matt Wright is a Canadian stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and director. Wright is known for his sharp, clean, observational comedy about the struggle of being a person and he can transition seamlessly between one-liners, storytelling, and silliness.

Matt has appeared on two Just for Laughs Galas (Laverne Cox 2017 and Ken Jeong 2018), This Hour Has 22 Minutes (where he was a staff writer for three seasons), CBC’s The Debaters, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and the Halifax Comedy Festival. You might also remember his set from Shaun Majumder’s tour of the Arts and Culture Centres!

Joining Matt Wright on this tour is Vicky Mullaley! Vicky is a stand-up comedian based in St. John’s Newfoundland, and was recently named the 2018 Best Local Comic/Funny Person by The Overcast! She was also named “Funniest Person in Newfoundland 2017” after winning James Mullinger’s Comedy Bootcamp.
Vicky lives her everyday life (often messy) as a 20-something-year-old single girl and adds a microphone to the mix to share her confessions. Whether it’s through telling a story or singing a fun parody song, she’ll leave you laughing and feeling like you’re doin’ alright in life!
