Anita grew up in Montreal and Toronto\, where I studied graphic design and printmaking. Since 2001\, she has lived and worked in St. John’s\, Newfoundland and Labrador\, as a full-time artist and educator. Her practice is deeply inspired by our natural world\, exploring themes of biodiversity\, ecological interconnectedness\, and environmental stewardship. Through her work\, she seeks to illuminate the beauty and complexity of living systems\, with this recent work focusing on our province’s plants\, fungi\, and marine life.
