DESCRIPTION:The Steep Ultra is Corner Brook’s premier mountain running event\, bringing athletes from across Newfoundland to tackle the Long Range Mountains. This is a 50km and 100km solo events and a 50km relay new this year. We rely on community volunteers to support aid station\, and runner safety. It’s a fun\, high energy day outdoors and a great way to be part of one of the region’s longest most exciting endurance events.

He has opened for John Mulaney\, Jerry Seinfeld\, Martin Short\, and Theo Von. He played The Weatherman on Season 2 of Son of a Critch. Matt has written for six seasons of This Hour Has 22 Minutes where he was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award\, as well as two episodes of Still Standing. As a filmmaker\, his short “Snowstorm Roulette” was nominated for Best International Short at the Austin Comedy Festival. \n“Matt Wright is definitely one of my favourites to watch these days. What I like about him is that he’s perfect for a festival: he can go into a room and make everybody laugh from age 19 to 90.”

This heartfelt story is funny\, tragic and full of the joy and sadness of young love. Directed by Kassie Lukeman and featuring Keira Clarke and Ian Locke this beautiful show will take place outdoors at Blow-Me-Down Ski Lodge.
