A permit is required for any swimming pool above 18″ in height, this includes hot tubs.   Swimming pools shall not be placed in the front yard of any dwelling and shall be completely surrounded by fencing a minimum of 6 ft in height.  Please refer to the Swimming Pool Regulations when applying for a building permit.
