The community is invited to a concert of Christmas music and readings. The evening includes choral music by the Bay of Islands Musical Arts Chorus (BIMA), the Cantabiles youth choir, and the Piccolo children’s choir, interspersed readings of the Christmas story by Dr. Chris Healey, as well as selections by brass and woodwind ensembles. The musical director is Dr. Jennifer Matthews, with conductors Wendy Woodland and Linda Butler-Carr. Tickets are available at Gary Bennett Music and at the door. Adults – $25, Seniors (60 and over) and Students – $20, and children 12 and under – free. There will be a reception after the concert, downstairs in the Arthur and Eileen Churchill Hall.
