BIG Talk is a global movement started by Kalina Silverman in the United States. It started as a social experiment where she challenged strangers to skip the small talk en engage in meaningful (BIG) conversations. She pushed people outside of their comfort zone by asking them questions like “what do you want to do before you die?” At this event, you will be able to better understand how culture can impact the way we think about things and reflect on our lives. This event is meant to be an opportunity to interact with people who are different from you and that you may not otherwise meet. BIG Talk is happening on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7th at 6:30pm in the First United Church Hall. There will be light refreshments available and the event is entirely free. All are invited to attend.
