You are invited to the Bay of Island Music Arts (BIMA) Christmas concert this Sunday evening, December 13 at 2 pm and 8 pm at The Cathedral of St John the Evangelist (Anglican) on Main Street. The concert, titled “Christmas in Story and Song,” will feature the BIMA mixed chorus, the BIMA women’s chorus, and several quartets with singers aged 14 to mid-70s. The guest reader is actor and English Professor Dr. Ken Jacobsen of Grenfell Campus, MUN. Wendy Woodland will conduct the BIMA chorus, and collaborative pianist Dr. Jennifer Matthews will accompany the singers. Tickets are $20 each and are available only in advance at Gary Bennett Music, West St. All COVID- protocols will be in effect, so join us to reflect, laugh, or even shed a tear for our “Christmas in Story and Song” concert this Sunday.
