Nominees for the 2025 Municipal Election will be announced on Friday, September 5th. Residents are reminded to check and see if they are on the Voter’s list at www.cornerbrookvotes.com. The election will take place on October 2, 2025.
As always, there will be a few ways to vote this year:
- In person at one of our advanced polls on September 23 and September 27 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. To 8:00 p.m. at the Corner Brook Civic Centre (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GRwdZdfpPW4DbpNL6)
- By Proxy — for more information on Vote By Proxy, please see our FAQ page here: www.cornerbrookvotes.com/voters/faqs
- Vote by mail. To register for vote by mail please go to www.cornerbrookvotes.com by no later than September 4th
- In person at one of our polling stations on October 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Please note that once you have your kit it must be returned by mail or other means to City Hall no later than:
Monday, September 22, through Canada Post
October 1st at 12:00 p.m. (noon) in-person either at City Hall Drop Box or directly to the Returning Officer.
A secure, all hours drop box is located at the main entrance of City Hall (civic square entrance https://maps.app.goo.gl/NN41xZJpJGepA4Cf8) for use at your convenience.

You can only vote at your designated polling station on October 2. Your polling station may have moved since the 2021 election so go to www.cornerbrookvotes.com and double check!
