Jigs & Wheels is back for its fifth year in 2026! As such, some common road closures will be in place. Please see below for the details.
July 23rd – July 26th
Broadway will be closed from the intersection of Herald Ave / Caribou Road to the intersection of Concorde Ave. During this time, residents of Concorde Ave will be able to access their homes via temporary two-way access on Broadway from Valley Road. This closure will be from 12:00 p.m. On July 23, 2026 lasting until 2:00 p.m. On July 26th, 2026.
This closure is in place for the setup of our festival’s opening weekend, featuring two nights of live music as well as an open air market with vendors on Saturday, July 25th. For tickets and other information head to www.jigsandwheels.ca!
August 1st
West Street will close from the intersection of Central Street to Main Street for the Best in the West Car Show, organized by the Kinsmen Club of Corner Brook. During this time, motorists will be able to access businesses and parking via the Hospital Hill exit behind Tim Horton’s. Church St. will temporarily allow two-way traffic during this time.
Please also note that ATV traffic will be allowed on all road throughout the festival, from Friday July 24th to Sunday, August 2nd during the designated hours of 7:00a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with the exception of the 4-lane section of O’Connell Drive, as well the Lewin Parkway as it is a provincial highway. We encourage visitors and residents to exercise caution during this time and follow the rules of the road safely!
