Due to repairs to the water distribution system an emergency road closure expecting to last 10 – 12 hours has been issued for Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. for the following area:
O’Connell Drive will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Elswick Road to the intersection of University Drive. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
Access to the park will be maintained via the West Valley Road side.
