Due to strike action being taken by CUPW (Canadian Union of Postal Workers), those who returned their Vote by Mail ballots through Canada Post by September 22 are advised to call 709-637-1535 and confirm we have received your ballot. If we have not, the following options are available:
- If you are currently in Corner Brook, you can drop by City Hall to use one of our blank vote by mail kits. This will nullify the ballot you already mailed and that ballot will be destroyed upon receipt.
- Vote by Proxy. You can arrange for someone to vote on your behalf. Go to www.cornerbrookvotes.com for more information and to print off the form. Our second advanced poll day is tomorrow, September 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and election day is October 2.
If you did not return your ballot through Canada Post you can still drop it at City Hall using our drop box at the main entrance, or by handing it directly to the Returning Officer.
For any questions or concerns please give us a call at 709-637-1535.
