Tomorrow, Saturday June 7, we mark the grand re-opening of the Doug Sweetapple soccer pitch with an exciting lineup of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Premier Youth League. With a fresh new turf, the City of Corner Brook and Corner Brook United Soccer Club will welcome teams from across the Province beginning at 2:00 p.m.

The investment of a new turf, totaling 1.2Million dollars, is another example of the City’s commitment to top quality sports and recreation in the Humber Valley-Bay of Islands region. We look forward to countless tournaments in this revitalized venue in the next few years.
